Obituary for Charles A. "Chuck" Bellavance

Charles A. "Chuck"  Bellavance
SEYMOUR, CT: Charles “Chuck” Bellavance left this earth suddenly on September 1, 2012. Chuck lived most of his life in Seymour CT and worked in the printing industry for over 30 years. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Chuck was born on January 13, 1951, in Attleboro MA. He was most recently employed by Quad Graphics of North Haven, and also in Oberlin OH and Atlanta GA. During his time in Seymour he served on the Water Pollution Control Authority and the Planning and Zoning Commission. Besides his loving wife Linda, he is survived by two sons, Joseph Bellavance of Shelton CT and Shawn Bellavance of Waterbury, his sisters Elaine Burns of Fleming Isle FL, Anne Marie Sacco of Port Richey FL, and Laurie Smith of North Attleboro MA. He also leaves behind a brother, Alan Bellavance of Pawtucket RI, and five cherished grandchildren, Gabrielle Bellavance of Seymour, Ryan, Casey, and Zachary Bellavance of Beacon Falls, and Kayla Bellavance of Naugatuck. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Bellavance and his parents Roland and Edna Bellavance. Chuck coached teams from the Geo. J. Hummel Little League and Seymour Babe Ruth League, and was an active Scout Leader for many years with Boy Scout Troop 65 of Oxford. He enjoyed NASCAR and loved tools; Chuck was known by all his family and friends as "the go to guy" when you needed something fixed. Visiting hours will be held at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home 161 West Church St., Seymour on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of the Assumption 61 N. Cliff St., Ansonia where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM. A private burial will be held at a later date.
