Condolences

Condolence From: Willard Revaz
Condolence: I still think of Tom each Thursday when we men meet for breakfast at Fritz's restauraunt. Tom loved getting together each Thursday as well and contributed eagerly to our discussions. He is sorely missed.

Condolence: To Tom's Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Tom always greeted me at church with a smile and a hug. He had a great voice and such a warm person. May all the wonderful, beautiful memories bring a smile upon your faces. God Bless, Joy Harmann and family.

Condolence: Tom was a long time friend and fellow postcard collector, but what I will long remember is our evening cribbage matches in Brimfield. 15, 2, 15, 4, let's remember the games we scored. - Susan

Condolence: As a former member of Oxford Congregational Church, the choir, and the Thursday morning breakfast group, I want to express my sincere condolences to Tom's entire family and friends. There can be no more meaningful remembrance of Tom than his vacant seat at the breakfast table of Fritz's. We were able to learn much about Tom in our weekly sessions and he was willing to open up to us on many subjects not willingly shared with others. His memory will remain with us for a long time.

Condolence: I only learned of Tom's passing this AM and want to extend my sincere condolences to the family of an old buddy from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. I only stayed at the Academy for one year, but remember Tom, as does George Conrad, as a good fellow with a quick laugh and a friendly smile for all. George would from time to time pass along Tom's e-mails, so in our later years, that was how I kept up with him. And i would like to share this. My most vivid memory of Tom, for some reason, is walking with a small group of us to the Holly House for a burger on one liberty weekend. Of all the memories I might want to remember him, I can't think of a better time to recall. Dressed in our uniforms and overcoats, for it was a cold day I guess, we (at least me for sure) felt on top of the world - good buddies, good times, good days, who could ask for more. I know that Tom will surely be missed by all his Academy classmates and remembered by all as a good and trusted friend. May God bless him with peace, the knowledge that He is always caring for his loved ones and that the world is a better place for his presence among us.

Condolence: My sympathy to the family of a great guy; I will miss Tom. I was a classmate of Tom's at the Coast Guard Academy where he was a good friend of mine but unfortunately I never had the opportunity to serve with him during our service careers, so we lost contact in the main until I took over e mail correspondent for the class of 1958. He was a frequent correspondent and I enjoyed his communications which, regretfully, had gotten fewer as the years went by. I enjoyed Tom as a friend, a classmate and as a person. He will be missed by all of us...Regretfully and much to my sorrow, I only became aware of his passing, and the service tomorrow, at 10 pm this evening the 26th, making it impossible for me to attend from where I live. I hope that someone who attends will say a fond farewell to a good friend for me....and I thank you for it.
