Obituary for Ann Carrington (Sherwinsky)

Ann Sherwinsky Carrington of Bethany passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012. She was born in Seymour on September 23, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Louis and Pauline Sherwinsky. Ann was the owner-operator of the International House of Pancakes in Westville for many years...More recently she had been employed by the former Oak Lane Country Club in Woodbridge where she was affectionately known as the "flower lady" She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dr. Franklyn H. and Carolyn Riordan Carrington of Bethany., three grandchildren and their spouses Franklyn (Bif) (Isabel) of New Hartford, Christopher (Caroline) of Durham, NC and Paige (Dr. Matthew) Bernabei of Lancaster, PA., four great-grandchildren, Chase and Camilla Carrington and Carrington and Brooks Bernabei. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Edith and Joan Carrington of Bethany and Helen Sherwinsky of Seymour., brother-in-law Ralph (Debbie) Carrington of Oregon and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Walter, Edward and Gustave Sherwinsky and John Brusble. and sisters Sophie Flood , Helen Hafersat, and Jean Rozenski. There are no calling hours.
