BEACON FALLS, CT: Wanda Yost, age 97 of Beacon Falls entered into peaceful rest November 10, 2012 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby; she was the beloved wife of the late Jacob Yost. Mrs. Yost was born February 1, 1915 in Seymour, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Blazwicz) Dulka. Wanda retired from the former BF Goodrich in Shelton as a Press Room Operator, and was employed by the former Seymour Manufacturing Co., From 1947 to 1953, she ran the family grocery store which was located on Third St. in Seymour.
Mrs. Yost leaves her loving family including, her son, Harry J. Yost and his wife Audrey of Seymour, daughter in law, Judy Yost of Ansonia, 7 grandchildren, Cheryl, Robert, Lisa, Michele, Ashley, Samantha, and Kimberly, and 12 great grandchildren, Jessica, Rebekah, Abigail, Alana, Michael, Jacob, Christopher, James, Paul, Jennifer, Justine, and R.J., also several nieces and nephews, and her devoted niece, Lillian Giovaccino of Seymour. She was predeceased by her son, Robert L. Yost, and her brothers, John Dulka, Edward Dulka, and Casimer Dulka and her sister, Mary Howard.

Calling Hours are Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour; a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
