Ms. Alice R. Rogers, age 80, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at Griffin Hospital, Derby.

She was born on August 2, 1932 in Glen Cove, NY and was the daughter of the late Edward and Esther (Greski) Labacz. Alice was a tool crib attendant at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford before her retirement.

Alice is survived by her three devoted children, Robert Rogers, Jr. of Naugatuck, Kim Lavorgna of Oxford, Nancy Duffy and her husband, Joe of Newtown and two brothers, Joseph Labacz (Sandy) of Cheshire and Edward Labacz, Jr. (Sue) of Naugatuck, four sisters, Elaine Lonergan (Stephen) of Seymour, Patricia Duke of Seymour, Elizabeth Rosenthal (Peter) of The Villages, FL, Janet Porter (Tony) of Hamden. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Melissa, Robert & Mallory Rogers, Michael, Jessica & Lyndsie Lavorgna, Harrison, Samuel, Jacob & Savannah Duffy and three great grandchildren, Brianna & Makayla Rogers, Madyson Waxman and several nieces & nephews and dear friends, Marge Guliuzza, Nicolina Barker, Shirley Guliuzza all of Seymour. She was predeceased by her longtime companion, Alex MacAulay.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 9:45 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church, Seymour. Interment will be held in private.
