Condolences

Condolence From: The Reverend Dr. E. Bevan Stanley
Condolence: I am very sorry to learn of the passing of Arthur Monk. I knew him when he was Archdeacon. His faith and good humor made working with him a joy. The world is diminished by his departure. Well done, good and faithful servant.

Condolence From: RoseMarie Marmolejo (Aunt Ree)
Condolence: Dearest, Roger, Darlene, Nancy, Bill and all children/family, John and I are extremely sorry for the loss of Arthur, our friend and fellow priest. We have many wonderful memories and times that we shared celebrations with Rev. Monk, and his wonderful assistance at the baptism of our only Grandchild, Dante. He was a loving, kind, funny and very accomplished man, a man that anyone could be proud to have as a father and family member and to us, he was all of that. We share your loss, we love you all and know that we hope that we all keep in touch. We love him and everyone who was lucky enough to be a part of his legacy and life. Always, Love, Aunt Ree and Uncle Joan (please contact us so we can all celebrate 'life' together) XXOO

Condolence: Roger, Darlene, and Family,

We are so sorry for the great loss of your dad. He was not only an extremely accomplished man, but also a kind and gentle person, who was a joy to know. The memory of the wonderful life he shared with you will never fade. We are thinking of you, and hope that you can find solace in remembering all that he meant to our family, and to everyone fortunate enough to have known him. Love you, Michele and Tom

Condolence: Father Monk was always so kind and supportive. Working with him as secretary to the Trinity Seymour church secretary, Mustardseed Editor and as a deanery rep, I don't think I ever met anyone with the energy and vigor Fr. Monk showed ALWAYS. Ah, the articles for MUSTARDSEED! I will also always remember how intimidated Alex felt when he was first asked to acolyte for Fr. Monk - yet Fr. Monk was so supportive and gracious that he allayed all of Alex's fears. Fr Monk will be deeply missed.

Condolence: As an organist in the Episcopal Church for the past fifty eight years, Father Monk and I crossed paths many times. I knew him to be a warm, quiet, great, man of wisdom and nifty humor. May his faith be with us all. I am grateful to have known him.
Sincerely,
David Davison

Condolence: Darlene, Roger and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. While it's been a very long time since I had met him, I remember him as a gentle, caring person. My Mom would always speak highly of him, as she also enjoyed his company on the occasions they were together. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Sincerely, Jim and Marie Cisero Stempert
