OXFORD, CT: Sylvia (Whittle) Adams age 75 of Oxford entered peaceful rest on June 30, 2014 at the Danbury Hospital; wife of the late Paul D. Adams, Sr. Mrs. Adams was born December 2, 1938 in Sheffield, England, daughter of the late Thomas and Emma (Conway) Whittle. Sylvia was a retired Registered Nurse having worked 46 years at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. She leaves her loving family including her daughter, Cheryl Adams and her husband Rob Szost of Southbury, her grandsons, Colin Szost of Austin, TX, and Adam Szost of Southbury, her sister, Thelma Zeiler and her husband Bill of Lake Elsinore, CA, and her dear friend Kathy Chicoski of Oxford. Her son, Paul Adams predeceased her. All services are private. There are no calling hours. Please do a kind act to honor Sylvia's memory.
