Mrs. Regina K. Ladyko, age 90, of Oxford, entered peaceful rest on Friday, August 1, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 10, 1924 in Fairfield, CT and was the daughter of the late John and Alexandra (Nerko) Kulik. After high school, Mrs. Ladyko worked at General Electric in Bridgeport and then was a secretary in the dental office at Fairfield Hills Hospital in Newtown for over 20 years before her retirement. She was an avid member of the Ladies Guild at St. Thomas the Apostle Church for over 50 years and also a member of the Oxford Garden Club, Oxford Senior Center, Women’s Red Hat Society and the Ladies Auxiliary at Oxford Center Fire House.

She is survived by her three devoted children, Alice J. Ladyko of Oxford, Kate Ladyko of NY, NY and Frank Ladyko and his wife Tammy of Oxford and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Francis “Frank” Ladyko and two brothers, Theodore Kulik and Edward Harmash predeceased her.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday Aug. 7 at 9:00 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour and a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Oxford. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
