Life Story for Wesley A. Barrett

SEYMOUR, CT: Wesley A. Barrett age 96 of Seymour entered peaceful rest September 19, 2014 at Bridgeport Manor Health Care, Bridgeport; he was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Harris) Barrett. Mr. Barrett was born September 14, 1918 in Derby, son of the late John Wesley and Muriel (Spooler) Barrett. Wesley was retired from the Farrel Corporations having worked in Ansonia and Derby as a Machinist. Mr. Barrett was a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran, and he belonged to the Emil Senger, Post 10, American Legion.

Mr. Barrett leaves his loving family including two sons, Bruce Barrett (Shirley) of Parsippany, NJ, and Brian Barrett of Ansonia; two daughters, Bonnie Morris (Robert), and Betsy Merrill all of Seymour, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Leland Barrett and Ruth Warcholik, a granddaughter, and two great grandchildren.

Funeral Services are private. There are no calling hours. Interment with full Military Honors will be in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour is entrusted with the arrangements. Please share a memory online at www.hullfh.com
