Obituary for Richard "Ricky" Hyman

Richard “Ricky” Hyman, age 60, beloved husband of Barbara (Blakeman) Hyman, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 7, 2015 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury. Born in Derby on October 24, 1955, he grew up in Seymour and was a son of the late Philip and Madelyn (Devon) Hyman. A US Army Black Beret veteran of the Vietnam War, Ricky was a tractor trailer driver for Bozzuto’s Trucking who enjoyed splitting and stacking wood for the winter. In addition to his wife, survivors include his loving children, Ben Hyman of Naugatuck, Daniel Hyman of Ansonia, Joshua Hyman of Beacon Falls, Daniel Lucas of Oxford, Michael Hyman of Oxford, Kelly Grzywacz of Seymour, Megan, Abigail, Keriana, and Katie-Lynn all of Oxford; brothers, John Hyman of FL and Philip Daniel Hyman of Seymour; sisters, Helene Nealy of PA, Jeanette Oliver of Seymour and Catherine Simon of Ansonia as well as many grandchildren (including a special granddaughter born on Tuesday, November 10th), one great grandson, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a son, Jason Blakeman and a grandson, Mason Lucas. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483.
