Life Story for Margaret "Margie" Bogoslawski (Semkew)

SEYMOUR, CT: Margaret "Margie" Bogoslawski, age 93 of Seymour entered eternal rest on January 9, 2016 at the CT Hospice, Branford; she was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Bogoslawski. She was born January 7, 1923 in Olyphant, PA, daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret (Gregor) Semkew. Margaret was a retired Inspector from the 3M Corp., and had also worked at other local factories. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church.

Mrs. Bogoslawski leaves her loving family including her daughter, Patricia Simmons and her husband Philip of Ansonia, a sister, Ethel Zaretski of Buffalo, NY, her granddaughters, Laura Ann Simmons of Shelton, Michele Gustafson and her husband Richard of Orange, and Melissa Wojnagi and her husband Denis of Oxford, her great grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Wojnagi and Victoria and Erik Gustafson, and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers, Stephen, Nicholas, and George Semkew, and sisters, Helen Tankus, Theresa Mazzola, and Marion Dubravcak predeceased her.

Calling Hours will be held Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church Street, Seymour. A mass of Christian Burial will directly follow at St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave., Seymour, at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
