Evelyn Irene Estock (nee Galada) age 91, passed away as she was lovingly cared for at home in Seymour, Connecticut on April 17, 2016. She was born on November 22, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio to Stephen and Catherine Galada. Evelyn was the loving and devoted wife of the late Paul; beloved and warmhearted mother of Ann (Alfred) Theis, Mary (Michael Mansi) Estock, Robert (Kirsten), Cathy (Louis) Gamboa; Carol (Tim) Riel; treasured grandmother of Hannah, Emily, Paul, Christopher, Mina, Lily, Griffin, and Jill; and loving sister of Norman Galada (deceased). Evelyn will always be remembered for her exceptionally kind heart, warm hands, legendary back rubs, her trust and reverence of God, and dutiful soul. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking walks, reading, and was quick to laugh. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, April 19, 2016 DIRECTLY in Church of the Good Shepherd,135 Mountain Rd., Seymour at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour. There will be no calling hours.
