Life Story for Matthew Steven "Matty" Fraser

SEYMOUR, CT: Matthew Steven "Matty" Fraser, age 55 a lifelong Seymour resident, he entered peaceful rest on April 26, 2016 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby surrounded by his devoted family. Mr. Fraser was born in Derby, son of Virginia (Crute) Fraser of Seymour, and the late Robert M. Fraser. Matthew worked for Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford and Bridgeport. He was a member of the Seymour United Methodist Church. Matty loved fishing and gardening; he enjoyed writing poetry and cooking, and a hot cup of coffee and a cigarette. "He touched many people's lives, and will be forever loved and greatly missed".

In addition to his mother, Matthew leaves his loving family including brothers, Robin C. Fraser (Bonnie) of Arlington WA, Thomas James Fraser (Kathleen) of Alfred, ME, his sisters, Terri Boroski (Richard) of Naugatuck, Connie Colwell of Naugatuck, and Lisa Krajza (Micky) Plymouth, and several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. HIs brother Christopher Fraser predeceased him.

Calling Hours will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church ST., Seymour. The Funeral Service in celebration of Matty's life will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mountain Meadows Cemetery.
