Patricia Anne "Trish and GG"  Gribben (Durkin)
OXFORD, CT: Patricia Anne "Trish", "GG" Gribben, age 84 of Oxford entered peaceful rest on August 4, 2016 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport; she was the beloved wife of the late Robert Gribben. Mrs. Gribben was born March 30, 1932 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Joseph and Eileen (McQuillan) Durkin.

Patricia was a U.S. Marine Veteran, and she retired from Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford where she worked as a secretary for many years. She was a communicant and was very active in parish life as well as a counter at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Trish was an avid golfer and she also loved gardening, "she was known for her flowers".

Patricia leaves her loving family, including her son, Peter Gribben and his wife Robin of Beacon Falls, her brother, William Durkin and his wife Dorothy of Stratford, her grandchildren, Emily and Erin Gribben, and Samantha Palombizio and Sharon Mastrobattisto, her niece, Cindy Durkin and nephews, Bill and Dan Durkin, and her Goddaughter Maryellen Mars.

Calling Hours will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. Funeral Services in celebration of Patricia's life will be Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Rd., Oxford where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. followed by full Military Honors. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery, Derby.
