OXFORD, CT: Travis W. Stanton, age 37 of Oxford, , he entered peaceful rest on August 5, 2016. Mr. Stanton was born July 1, 1979 in Derby, beloved son of Raymond and June (Hubbell) Stanton of Oxford, and his longtime companion of Cyndi Licnikas of Oxford. Travis worked as a tree cutter and land clearer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. "He was loved by all".

In addition to his parents, Travis leaves his loving family including his daughter, Hope Stanton and his son, Walker Stanton; his brother, Austin Stanton and his wife Melissa of Oxford, and his grandfather, Robert A. Stanton, and grandmother , Pauline Hubbell both of Oxford; also many aunts and uncles including Bill and Becky Stanton of Carmel, NY and Sam Stanton of Oxford, and several cousins.

Calling Hours will be Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Memorial Service in celebration of Travis' life will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
