Life Story for Mary Skuret

Mary  Skuret
SEYMOUR, CT: Mary Skuret, age 101 a longtime Seymour resident entered peaceful rest on January 16, 2017 at Hewitt Memorial Hospital, Shelton. Mary was born in Ansonia on August 16, 1915, daughter of the late Daniel and Esther (Kuziak) Skuret. She was a retired hairdresser. Mary was a communicant of St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ansonia. She also belonged to the Seymour and Ansonia Senior Centers.

Mary leaves her loving family including, her nephews, Richard Skurat of Middletown, and Warren Skuret in PA, also a niece, Sandra Benham of Seymour. Her brothers Alexander, Michael, and Peter Skurat, and sister, Ana Horischak predeceased her.

Calling Hours are Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. Her funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. in St. Peter and St. Paul Church, 105 Clifton Av. Ansonia. Interment will be in St. Peter and St. Paul Cemetery, Derby.
