Obituary for Elsie Olga Kutniewski (Kondrasky)

Elsie “Olga” Kutniewski, age 93, of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Joseph Kutniewski Sr., entered peaceful rest on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in Glendale Healthcare, Naugatuck. Born in Bridgeport on October 5, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Vladimir and Natalie (Kuczin) Kondrasky. While she enjoyed flower gardening, her greatest pleasure was the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Joseph Kutniewski Jr. (Margaret); daughter-in-law, Cathleen Kutniewski; grandchildren, Joseph Kutniewski III (Taryn), Justin B. Kutniewski (Phoebe), Michael Kutniewski Jr., Amy and Jennifer Kutniewski; great grandchildren, Jack Henry, Stella Rose, Taylor Whitney, and Jacob Joseph Kutniewski, as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to her husband she was pre-deceased by her son, Michael Kutniewski Sr.; brothers, John and Nick Konder and Michael Kondrasky; and sisters Helen Burgess and Lillian Palcak. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 9 am in the Ralph Hull Funeral Home 161 West Church St. Seymour, and at 10 am in the Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Church, 1510 East Main Street, Bridgeport for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, from 4pm to 8 pm in the funeral home.
