Obituary for Angela Lydiksen (Cannili)

SEYMOUR, CT: LYDIKSEN Angela (Cannici) Lydiksen, 42, of Seymour entered into rest on July 19, 2008. She was surrounded by her loving husband, Erik, and family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Erik Lydiksen and daughter of the late Vincent Cannici and Amalie and John Troiani of Mayfield, PA; daughter-in-law of Edward Lydiksen of Shelton, and was predeceased by mother-in-law Shirley Lydiksen. Angie was born in Derby, CT.
She is survived by her two sons Erik and Luke whom she adored. She was employed by Dr. Jeffrey Babushkin for more than 14 years at Complete Preventive Dentistry, Trumbull and leaves behind a best friend in him. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by a sister Julie and husband Steven Haekler, nieces Jacy & Ava of Quakertown, PA. two loving sisters-in-law Karen &and husband Jim Murphy of Seymour, Laura &and husband Kevin Cullen of Wappinger, NY; nieces and nephews Caitlyn, Megan, Jillian, Connor, Kyle, Rachael, and Sarah. She will be missed by her best friends Karen Izzo & Lisa Woosley; as well as her friends from growing up to the present. Angie’s many interests during her life included her family and friends, weekend getaways with the "girls"; she loved taking photographs and making beautiful scrapbooks, her love of camping and finding many more friends at the various campsites. She loved anything to do with Summer and the water, gathering with friends and family. Angela was the Secretary for Castles in the Park Revitalization Committee at Gary Park. She was involved with Cardio-faciocutaneous Syndrome and has raised thousands of dollars in search of a cure for this syndrome; which her youngest son, Luke, is afflicted with. She will be missed, but she will never be forgotten.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in the Ralph E. Hull, 161 West Church St. Seymour, funeral services in celebration of Angela’s life will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, 117 Mountain Rd., Seymour, CT. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Erik V. Lydiksen (for education) or CFC International, 183 Brown Road, Vestal, NY, 13850 (www.cfcsyndrome.org).
