Obituary for Anne E. Willadsen (Klemenz)

SOUTHBURY: Anne E. (Klemenz) Willadsen, age 91 of Southbury, beloved wife of the late Hans W. Willadsen, entered peaceful rest on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in the Lutheran Home of Southbury, with family by her side. Born in New Haven on July 6, 1932, she was a daughter of the late John and Isabelle (Montano) Klemenz.

A Grace-New Haven Graduate, class of 1953 and retired nurse, Anne was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and always put family first. Anne also enjoyed the many years spent in Sebastian, FL, along with Hans, where she made great friendships with her neighbors. She will be fondly remembered for her love of family, as well as doing her crossword puzzles and watching her favorite TV show, Jeopardy.

Survivors include her loving children, David Willadsen (Lisa) of Prospect, Michael Willadsen (Beth) of South Windsor, Karen Smith (Gary) of Oxford, Marie Pacitto (John Radtke) of Brookfield, and Nancy Butler (Brian) of Torrington; her sister-in-law, Abby Bray of Cheshire; brother-in-law, Frederick T. Dunn Jr., as well as her many adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Anne's family would like to extend a loving "Thank You" to Virginia Hannon, APRN, and the Lutheran Home, especially Gerde B. Francklin, APRN for their care.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 10am DIRECTLY in Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury, CT 06488. Interment will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, Seymour. In lieu of flowers , donations can be made to the Southbury Volunteer Fire Dept, 461 Main Street, Southbury CT 06488. The Ralph E.
