OXFORD: Mr. Anthony Anufrijevas, age 83, beloved husband of 65 years to Milija “Milly” (Rusinova) Anufrijevas, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2010 at Griffin Hospital, Derby. He was born in Lithuania on May 13, 1926. Anthony was a machinist at Farrel Corp. in Derby for over 30 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Riverside Firehouse for many years and a member of the Farrel Corp. Old Timers Club. Anthony was an avid snow skier and a member of the Winterset Ski Club in Newtown. He also enjoyed barefoot waterskiing and was an avid runner in numerous 5K marathons. In addition to his devoted wife, Anthony leaves a son, Vladas “Walter” Anufrijevas of Denver, CO, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. His son Leonard Anufrijevas, and four brothers predeceased him. Family and Friends may call on Saturday, February 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Panahita Service to follow at 1 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be held in private.
