Obituary for Bruce J. Cormack
ANSONIA - Bruce J. Cormack, age 69 of Ansonia, was reunited with his beloved wife of 35 years, Virginia “Ginny” (Baker) Cormack, on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Born in New Haven on November 6, 1952, he was a son of the late Bruce T. Cormack and Florence (Amico) Cormack of Seymour.
A graduate of Emmett O’Brien Tech, Bruce was known for his athleticism in long distance running. He loved music and was a huge Red Sox fan. But above all, Bruce was a devoted husband to Ginny and they enjoyed doing many things together, especially cruising. Those who knew Bruce will remember his kindness, humbleness and generosity.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving siblings, Lisa Casini and her husband Robert of Seymour, Gary Cormack and his wife Denise of FL, Michael Cormack and his wife Madeline of Seymour, and Susan Durant of TN, as well as several nieces, nephews, and his special caregiver, Luanne Smith.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2pm to 5pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
