Obituary for Craig M. Moir

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Craig Moir, father, beloved son, brother, grandson, Uncle, and friend, who left us far too soon. Craig was a passionate and vibrant individual. He had an unwavering love for the Miami Heat that was contagious to anyone who knew him. His eyes would light up as he
passionately cheered on his favorite team.

In his professional life, Craig was a dedicated and hardworking individual. He worked tirelessly at Mohawk Flooring, where he was known for his strong work ethic. Outside of work and basketball, Craig had a zest for life. He had an infectious smile and an easygoing nature that made him a joy to be around.

Craig was predeceased by both of his parents, Cindy Moir and Michael Moir. We pray that they have been reunited in heaven. Craig will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a passion for life that will continue to inspire us all.

He is survived by his loving grandmother Lucille Moir, brother Chad Moir (Saba Shahid), his sister Casey Savo (Anthony Savo), niece (Savannah Savo) and nephews (Aayan Moir and AJ Savo), and his cherished daughter, Chloe Moir, who will forever carry his spirit in her heart. Chloe, your father's love for you was immeasurable, and his legacy will live on through the memories you shared.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at the McCall House in Torrington for their exceptional care and support during Craig’s continued sobriety. Your kindness provided comfort and solace during this difficult time.

A grave side service to celebrate Craig's life will be held on 9/5/2023 at 1pm at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to his daughter Chloe Moir, 111 Highland Ave. Beacon Falls, CT 06403. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements.

Though he may no longer be with us, Craig’s memory will live on in our hearts, and continue to unite us with his spirit.

Rest in peace, Bro.
