OXFORD, CT- Cynthia McCluskey, age 61 of Oxford, entered peaceful rest on Friday, October 18, 2019 in her home surrounded by family. Born in Derby on January 20, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Clarence “Mac” McCluskey and Dorothy (Fegan) McCluskey of Oxford. The former owner of Barci’s Espresso Bar in Waterbury, Cynthia also spent many years as a hairdresser. She will be remembered for her love of baking and cooking, but mostly for being a loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, and especially Grandma Cici to her cherished grandchildren. In addition to her mother, survivors include her beloved children, Jonathan Howard and his wife Jessica Pond of North Haven, and Erika Young and her husband Jordan of NC; sisters, Sheree Butcaris and her husband Michael, and Jill Falbo and her husband Richard, all of Beacon Falls; four cherished grandchildren, Evan, Chase, Charlett and Avery, as well as several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call on Monday, October 21, 2019 in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483 from 4pm to 7pm with a celebration of her life being held at 7pm. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
