Obituary for Daniel Birdsall III
East Haddam: Daniel Birdsall, III, age 72 of East Haddam, entered peaceful rest on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on February 8, 1948, he was the son of the late Daniel and Florence (Olshesky) Birdsall.
A former technician for Dictaphone, Daniel later retired from Pitney Bowes. He had a love for the outdoors, especially fishing with his father, and enjoyed walks in the woods with his beloved canine companions through the years, Zack, Ace and Jeter. Daniel was an avid NY Yankee and NY Giants fan.
Survivors include his loving sister, Dianne Laput of Beacon Falls; nephews, Adam Laput and his wife Marcia of Beacon Falls, and Todd Laput of CO; as well as grand nieces and nephews, Zachary, Emily, Jonas, Kiera and Sofia.
Private funeral services are being held at the convenience of the family, and the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour, CT 06483 has been entrusted with his arrangements.
