Obituary for David Arnold
OXFORD – David Arnold, age 69 of Oxford, beloved husband of the late Roberta (Fincher) Arnold, entered into peaceful rest on Sunday, May 30, 2021 in Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury. Born in Danbury on December 20, 1951, he was a son of the late John and Katherine Arnold.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, David was a retired machinist for Sikorsky Aircraft. He will be fondly remembered for his love of NASCAR, golfing, the NY Giants and especially spending time with family grilling steaks and barbequing in the backyard.
Survivors include his loving sons, Gregory T. Arnold of Oxford, and David B. Arnold and his wife Jessica of Naugatuck; brothers, John Arnold of CA, James Arnold of Torrington, and Tom Arnold and his wife Yvonne of NY; sister-in-law, Ann Kanuck and her husband Mark of FL, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a celebration of his life to follow at 7 p.m. in Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David’s name can be made to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929.
