SEYMOUR – Edward Thomas Witzmann, age 93 of Seymour, beloved husband of Patricia (McCormack) Witzmann, entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, July 14, 2021 in Griffin Hospital, Derby. Born in Ansonia in January 6, 1928, he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth Witzmann. An honorable army veteran of the Korean War, Edward was an avid sports fan, especially for the Boston Red Sox, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family. In addition to his wife, Patricia, survivors include his son, Brian Witzmann and his wife Chloe of CA, as well as many extended family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating his life will take place on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 11am in St. Nicholas Parish, St. Augustine Church, Seymour. Interment will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery, Seymour. Family and friends may greet the family Monday morning from 9am to 10:30 am in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483.
