She was born February 1, 1939 in Derby, daughter of the late Ernest, Sr. and Alta Park (Wilbur) Tyers. Elaine leaves her loving family including her brother, Ernest Tyers, Jr. of Beacon Falls, an aunt, Edith Evans of Naugatuck, and an uncle, Lewis and aunt Toni Wilbur of Seymour.
