SEYMOUR, CT: Eleanor C. "Ellie" Walker, age 83 of Seymour, entered peaceful rest October 2, 2014 in Derby; she was the beloved wife of the late Harold Walker. Mrs. Walker was born November 26, 1930 in Derby, daughter of the late Anthony and Clara (Casagrande) Evangelist. Eleanor was retired from the American Brass Co., Ansonia as a bookkeeper. She was an avid reader; she loved to entertain and cook for family and friends. Eleanor enjoyed card and board games, but she mostly loved being around her grandchildren.

Mrs. Walker leaves her loving family including, her sons, Joseph Tosolini (Eileen) of Winter Park, FL, Anthony Tosolini, (Nancee) of Cabo san Lucas, MX, and Michael Tosolini of Stamford, her daughters, Barbara Moore and Carol Bunk (Thomas) all of Seymour; a brother, Joseph Evangelist (Eileen) of Kiawah Island, SC, 7 grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Kathleen, Cassandra, Jason, Adam, and Susan, 2 great grandchildren, Oliver and Benjamin, and nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be Friday October 10th, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Funeral Service in celebration of Eleanor's life will immediately follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Augustine Cemetery.
