I began "helping out" at the Mead farm soon after my brother Paul and I moved to Seymour in 1955. I would help bale hay, cut corn, sweep the barn, feed calves and do all the wonderful things farm life had to offer. Along with my father Buddy taught me his wok ethic and his love for the land. He was a fine man and I will miss him. I am so glad to have been a very small part of his life. God Bless and keep him in his heart.
