Evelyn Digris, age 92, of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Joseph Digris, entered into eternal rest on January 22, 2013 at her home.

She was born on October 2, 1920 in Derby and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Adeline (Kalpin) Fruin. Mrs. Digris was a hairdresser at the Macy’s in New Haven for 40 years before her retirement.

Mrs. Digris is survived by her dear friend and caregiver, Cherri Novack and her husband William and their children all of Seymour, and her cousin Florence Bernier and her husband Robert of Waterbury and their children.
