Obituary for Everett S. Hubbell

Waterbury, Ct Everett S. Hubbell, 85 of Glenbrook Ave. entered into peaceful rest at his home June 13, 2007. Everett was born in Seymour July 26, 1921 son of the late Everett and Isabell (Whitehead) Hubbell. He was a machine operator for Anaconda Brass for many years. Everett was a resident of Oxford before moving to Waterbury thirty years ago. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army and past member of the American Legion David S. Miles Post. Everett was an avid Red Sox fan, Golden Gloves boxer and bowler at Lakewood Lanes for many years and was a Midget Racing driver under AAA and ARD in the late forty’s and early to late fifty’s.
Everett leaves his brother, C. Leo Hubbell of Waterbury one niece, Laurie Larson, two nephews, Wayne Hubbell and Jeff Hubbell, several cousins, grand nieces and grand nephews and many close friends and neighbors at Glenbrook. He was predeceased by a brother, Walter Hubbell.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10:30am at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour. Burial will be in Oxford Congregational Cemetery.
