A beautiful and gentle Aunt

My Aunt Florence was and always will be remembered by me as one of the gentlest people I've ever known. Her smiles and laughter were always a trademark memory for me. One of my fondest memories of Aunt Florence was her many visits with my mom, her sister Catherine. I'm speaking specifically of when they were both widowed and hanging out like schoolgirls. I would laugh to tears when I would hear how they would go out to lunch and then compare how much money they saved. I would always be caught off guard when they would tell me of one of their road trips around CT. I would say to them "you can't drive that far away." But they loved those trips. It was so sweet when they would just be sitting together quietly in the living room side by side and watching t.v. No words needed. They were just an awesome support system for each other. It really warmed my heart but it also made me sad when I would think about how much they loved and missed their husbands. They were GREAT wives and the BEST mothers. Well, I now can finish this with warmth in my heart that there are two sisters, side by side once again in absolute joy because their husbands and parents are all with them too. I love you Aunt Florence. Your nephew, Jeff
