OXFORD, CT: Francis W. Hein, 83 of Oxford entered into peaceful rest August 4, 2010 at his home; he was the beloved husband of the late Josephine "Dolly" Hein. Mr. Hein was born September 24, 1924 in Derby, son of the late John F. and Emma Jane (Williams) Hein. Francis was a WW II U.S. Army veteran, and was retired from Winchester Repeating Arms, New Haven; he resided in Oxford for most of his life, and was a former Constable there. He leaves his loving family including a sister, Genevieve Sroka of Seymour and several nieces and nephews. His brothers, Richard, John, and William, and sisters, Alma Bashford, Doris Jones, and Ruth Scaife predeceased him.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
