SEYMOUR, CT: Frank W. Ajello, Jr., age 96 a lifelong Seymour resident, he entered into peaceful rest on December 18, 2020 at the Hewitt Memorial Hospital, Shelton; he was the beloved husband of 70 years to the late Ann (Shea) Ajello; they were married on August 27, 1949. Mr. Ajello was born June 10, 1924 in Seymour, son of the late Frank W., Sr., and Virginia (D’Agosto) Ajello. Frank was the owner and operator of the former Ajello Brothers Dairy. In 1960 along with his 2 brothers, they built and operated the former Great Hill Country Club until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the Seymour Grange, and was a Volunteer Firefighter and Charter Member and Past Captain in 1955 of the Great Hill Hose Company. Frank served on the Town of Seymour, Board of Selectmen from 1970-1980. Frank was a member of Race Brook Country Club, Orange. Frank loved spending most of his time with his family and grandchildren. Frank leaves his loving family including his son, William Ajello (Mary Beth) of Dallas, TX, his daughters, Elizabeth “Betty Ann” Pierpaoli of Orange, and Kathleen Conroy (Michael) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Kathryn and Michael Pierpaoli, Patricia and William Ajello, and Casey Conroy; also his great grandchildren, Emerson and Finley Ajello. His grandson, Michael Conroy, brothers, Albert and Ralph Ajello, and sisters, Grace Carinci and Helen Migani predeceased him. Calling Hours are Sunday from 3 to 6 PM at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Rd., Seymour.
