Frank J. Sura, Jr. 89 of Derby, he entered into peaceful rest on August 4, 2022. Mr. Sura was born July 1, 1933, son of the late Frank J., Sr., and Mary (Chmura) Sura. Frank was a retired Financial Analyst having worked at Sikorsky Aircraft, PepsiCo, Armstrong, and Pirelli. Frank was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed reading, gardening, following the financial markets, and sports of many kinds, especially UCONN Basketball, as well as baseball and football teams.

Frank leaves his loving family including his ex-wife, Elizabeth Krantzberg; son Chris Sura (Linda) of Beacon Falls, and his daughter, Kathryn Remmele (Tom) of Marietta, GA; a sister, Frances Dungleman in FL; his grandchildren, Ryan, Regina, Matthew, and Joshua; also great grandchildren, Adrian, Julianna, Alexandra, and Evelyn. His brother Richard Sura predeceased him.

Calling Hours are Tuesday from 9 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following at 11 AM at St. Michael Church, 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls. Interment will be at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour.
