Françoise (Fran) Violette Jaillet Oko, age 76, beloved wife of the late George Albert Oko, of Seymour, died Sunday, August 23, 2015. She was born in Newark, NJ, on August 7, 1939, to the late Charles and Violette Jaillet. She grew up in Hyannis, MA, located on Cape Cod, but her roots of family and friends extended between France and here in the United States. Fran worked for the Department of Finance at the Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA for 20+ years. Survivors include her four children: Kimberley Mangiacotti of Fitchburg, MA; Pamela Graswald/Fuchs of Islip, L.I., NY; Thomas “Bunky” Oko of Santa Clarita, CA; and Debbora Wertheim of Setauket, L.I., NY; as well as by her sister Michele Saddlemire of Florida. Grammy will also be missed by her 13 grandchildren, who “love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck”. Fran will be laid to rest with her husband George in Mt. Meadows Cemetery, Seymour. Memorial Services will take place Saturday, October 24th at 10am in Good Shepherd Parish 135 Mountain Road. Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W.
