SEYMOUR- Mr. Gary Lee Thibeault, age 58, beloved husband of Linda Bean Thibeault of Seymour passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Gary was born on May 29, 1950 in Rumford, Maine to the late Joseph Edgar Thibeault and Dorothy Mary Daigle Thibeault Chrzanowski. He served with the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War where he received a Purple Heart. He was a fuel technician at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford for 37 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Purple Heart Association, VA Ward 8 in North Hampton, MA, CT Action Group, and Teamsters union #1150 in Stratford. Gary was also a longtime Girls Softball Little League Coach in Seymour. In addition to his devoted wife he is survived by three loving daughters, Michele Thibeault of Naugatuck, Jolene Thibeault of Terryville, Nichole Thibeault Thompson of Naugatuck, five grandchildren, Desirea Duda, Chantel Thibeault, William Wesley Thompson, Jayden Lee Thibeault Russell, and Kylie Pereira. He is also survived by three brothers and a sister, Joseph Edgar Thibeault, Jr. of Mexico, Maine, Gail Boboc of Naugatuck, Wayne Thibeault of Portland, ME Evangeline Andrews of Kissimmee, Florida and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Joanne Holt and Janet Bernard and a brother, Robert Thibeault predeceased him. Family and friends may call on Saturday, April 11 from 4 to 7:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
