SEYMOUR, CT: Genevieve A. Stephenson age 82, of Seymour, formerly of Hamden and Northford entered into peaceful rest at her home on March 30, 2009. Mrs. Stephenson was born September 18, 1926 in North Branford, daughter of the late Nicholas and Frances (Marrone) Buccelli. Genevieve was retired from Whitney Manor, Hamden where she worked as a Nurses Aide. Genevieve will be remembered for her love of flower gardening and her devotion to her cherished grandchildren and great grandson. She was also and avid reader and loved doing crossword puzzles. Mrs. Stephenson leaves her loving family including her son, Sergeant First Class Robert Stephenson stationed in Baghdad, Iraq, her daughter with whom she resided, Kim Majkner and her husband Rob of Seymour, two sisters, Angela Velush of Meriden, and Pauline DiPierdomenico of Guilford, three grandchildren, Angela Page, Erica Pacitto, and Claudia Majkner all of Seymour, and her great grandson, Dylan Page of Seymour. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Lizzie Calcagni, Anthony Rapone, Thomas Crane, Salvatore Buccelli, Joseph Buccelli, Nicholas Buccelli and Jerry Buccelli. A Memorial Service in celebration of Genevieve’s life will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the services from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
