George: Remember all the fun we had in Weston, Vermont during the summers when you were there. Driving the tractor, tossing bales of hay onto the wagon, hauling the wagon to the barn and then tossing the bales into the barn, riding our bicycles all over town, driving the cows out to pasture in the morning and then back to the barn in late afternoon,yes, up and down Chester mountain road. We had to make sure the cows got around the cars without trying to jump over them. Building a dam in the brook,from lumber you got from the mill north of town,to to have a swimming hole.It turned out to be a muddy mess, especially after the cows got into it. The time you were riding me on the cross bar of my bicycle going across a field. We hit a little dip and front fork broke and we went sprawling onto the ground. O yes, we found cattails made good torches after soaking them in kerosene for a while. At least we didn't set the hay fields on fire. So many things we did in the short time we knew each other but life goes on even after leaving this life. Calvin Walker
