SEYMOUR, CT: George T. Tarby, Jr. age 76 a longtime Seymour resident, formerly of Oxford he entered into peaceful rest on July 24, 2019 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby; he was the beloved husband of Velma (Morrow) Tarby. Mr. Tarby was born July 22, 1943 in Derby, son of the late George T., Sr., and Evelyn (Morrow) Tarby. He was a retired self employed Master Painter and Master Wall Paper Hanger which he did for many years. He enjoyed casino gaming and spending time with his family and a good meal.

In addition to his wife, George leaves his loving family including, his sons, Wayne Morrow (Phyllis) of Seymour, Robert Morrow of Seymour, George T. Tarby, III of Shelton, and Billy Joe Tarby of Ansonia; his daughters, Debbie Tarby of Seymour, Tammy Rogers (Ron) of Seymour, and Dawn Wedge (Andrew) of Waterbury; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Ethan, Joseph, Matthew, Ronnie, Ryan, and Sabryna; his great granddaughter, Kali, and a nephew Mark, and niece Michelle. His son Michael Tarby, brother Wayne Tarby, and sisters, Patty Tarby and Marlene Salinardi all predeceased him.
