OXFORD, CT AND NEW YORK, N.Y.: Geraldine “Geri” Farrell, age 62, she entered into peaceful rest on November 21, 2022 in New York; she was the beloved wife of 21 years to Gary Farrell. Geri was born July 27, 1960 in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the late Anthony and Dolores (Moore) Brzoski. Geri was a retired Registered Nurse having been employed at St. Vincent Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Geri will always be fondly remembered as a very spiritual, kind, compassionate, selfless person. Family was most important to Geri, especially her very special nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as “Mama Bear”. Geri was generous beyond compare with her family and the charities that were so important to her. Due to her complications with mobility, Geri acknowledged her love and great appreciation for the 24-7 care by her beloved husband Gary, and how he was always there for her. Geri enjoyed gardening, attending professional tennis matches especially when she and Gary would attend the US Open Tennis matches in Queens. She enjoyed reading, cooking, doing arts and crafts, and was known as a great decorator; she’ll also be remembered as “a top class shopper”.
In addition to her husband Gary, Geri leaves her loving family including, her step-son Kris Farrell of Long Island, NY; her brothers, Andrew Brzoski of Wareham, MA, and Thomas Brzoski and his wife Nancy in Wisconsin; her sisters, Denise Fairhurst of Middleboro, MA, and Nadine Parker and her husband Gregg of Raymond, NH, and also her special nieces and nephews.
