SEYMOUR, CT: Gladys (Swirski) Evenski, 92 of Seymour entered into peaceful rest April 27, 2013 at CT Hospice, Branford. She was the beloved wife of 60 Years to the late Zigmont J. Evenski. Mrs. Evenski was born July 12, 1920 in Union City, daughter of the late Julius and Anna Swirski. Mrs. Evenski was a communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd, and was a former communicant of St. Hedwig Church, Naugatuck. Gladys will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Evenski leaves her loving family including 2 sons, Mark M. Evenski of Seymour, and John M. Evenski (Cindy) of Naugatuck, a daughter, Maureen E. Adamczyk of Bethany and her fiance' Bruce Baldino, 4 grandchildren, Victoria and Michael Adamczyk, and Molly and Rebecca Evenski and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers, Clifford and Julius J. Swirski, and sister Helen Marr predeceased her.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour to Good Shepherd Church, 135 Mountain Rd., Seymour where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck.
