Obituary for Hazel Lillian Mole (Turang)

Mrs. Hazel Lillian Mole, age 96, of Naugatuck, beloved wife of the late Lester Joseph Mole, entered peaceful rest on August 2, 2014 at Waterbury Hospital.

She was born on August 25, 1917 in New York City and was the daughter of the late John and Caroline (Beekler) Turang. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY and then moved to Ansonia and lived there for many years. During the past few months, she resided at Beacon Brook in Naugatuck.

Mrs. Mole is survived by her devoted sons, Ronald J. Mole and his wife, Bernadette of Naugatuck, Clifford T. Mole and his wife Susan of Oxford, six grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam) Olshan of Glastonbury, Cynthia (Edward) Pitcher of Columbia, Elisabeth (Daniel) Chalovich of Pittsburgh, PA, Caroline (Richard) LeVasseur of Thomaston, David (Pamela) Mole of Meriden and Karen Mole of Waterbury and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Howard Turang.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 8 at 9:00 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will follow in Calverton Cemetery, Long Island, NY. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
