To all the Pastir ladies,their spouses, and children: My sincere sympathies are with all of you. I will always remember your mother's potato pancakes, cooked cabbage with noodles, pressure cooking, baking, and when she was involved with the Popular Club. I always enjoyed sitting down with my mom and going through that book and picking out the various items my mom wanted. Matter of fact, I still have a few plates from a set of dishes my mom bought from the Popular Club.
