SEYMOUR- Helen G. Bathgate Provost, age 86, of Seymour, died on Monday, November 24, 2008 in Birmingham Health Care in Derby. Helen was born on October 28, 1922 in West Haven to the late Jack and Helen Beecher Bathgate. She is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Verdini of North Haven and Shirley Driscoll of Meriden, a brother, George D. Bathgate of Brandon, VT and several nieces and nephews. Her brother, George Bathgate and her sister Olive Dawson predeceased her. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 29 at 11 a.m. in the Seymour Evangelical Baptist Church, 104 Mountain Road, Seymour. Interment will be held in the Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery, 526 Amity Road, Bethany.
