Helena A. Cardamone, 79 of Naugatuck, formerly of Clearwater, FL, and Seymour, she entered peaceful rest on March 29, 2022 at the VITAS Hospice of St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury; she was the beloved wife of 42 years to the late Dominick Cardamone. Mrs. Cardamone was born November 16, 1942 in Derby, daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Sotak) Pastir. She was a retired Accounts Receivable Clerk, and Customer Service representative. Helena was a communicant of St. Nicholas Parish-Church of the Good Shepherd. She enjoyed playing BINGO, and Casino Gaming. She loved her time living in Clearwater, FL., and left many friends there.

Helena leaves her loving family including her son, David A. Yish and his wife Tracy of Oxford; her sisters, Dolores Dedo of Derby, Jean DePasqua of Naugatuck, Lorraine Reggio in FLA., and Janet Austin of Oxford; her grandson, John Yish of Oxford, and several nieces and nephews. Her granddaughter, Emily A. Yish, her brother, Michael Pastir, and sister, Eleanor Scott predeceased her.

Calling Hours will be Wednesday April 6th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A celebration of mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Rd., Seymour. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
