Obituary for Holly Myrill Fagan (Blood)

NAUGATUCK- Holly Myrill (Blood) Fagan, age 63, of Naugatuck, beloved wife of the late Mark Harold Fagan, entered peaceful rest on Monday, August 12, 2019, in Naugatuck with her family by her side. Born in Derby on February 26, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Rupert and Myrill (Bice) Blood Jr.

A paraeducator for many years in the Seymour School System, Holly loved camping, but especially anything and everything to do with children. Often referred to as a “mother to the world”, she was sweet and kind, had a huge heart and would have an open door for anyone who came to her home.

Survivors include her loving sons, Matthew and Christopher Fagan of Naugatuck; her cherished grandson, Adam; her sister, Donna (Blood) Miles of Oxford; her brother, Fred Blood and his wife Lorraine of Seymour, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St., Seymour, CT 06483.

holly was a wonderful lady she was like my aunt a very sweet lady she was so sweet and encourging she helped my mother and I all the time i enjoyed talking to her i called her aunty holly iloved her like a aunt iam so sorry for your loss mathew and cristfer iam sorry for the loss and pain your going through I also rember her relish she made and her taco dip and her brownies that she made one year for my birthday she was the sweetest ladyI ever met she was always there for my mom when my mother needed her, my mom was always there for her if she needed help she was very encourging she made me laugh i will think of her often i will miss her dearly, my deepest sypathies mathew and cristfer david pasalwskyjr

Thoughts and prayers of comfort and healing are with Matt and his family during this difficult time. While no words can ease the sting of grief, know that you’re in the prayers of many and are never alone. May God bless you with strength and peace. Although I never met her personally, it seems that she was a lovely woman with a good heart who was blessed with a loving family by her side. I’m sure that you had blessed her life as much as she had yours. May those memories also provide you with comfort, peace and some smiles and eventually joy as you remember her.
