Obituary for James E. "Jim" Migani

James (Jim) E. Migani, 61, of North Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Seymour and Brooklyn, CT was called to heaven September 19, 2021. Jim was born in Derby, CT on September 29, 1959 to the late Helen (Ajello) and Charles Migani. He was a 1977 graduate of Seymour High School and UCONN in 1981. Jim worked in the garage door industry for over 40 years culminating in his ownership of Precision Garage Door of South Florida. While he enjoyed a successful career, what was most important to him was family. Quite simply, Jim adored his family and his fiancée, Kathy. He loved watching his children grow into the successful adults they are. Jim loved spoiling his grandchildren. He was ever present in his children's lives. He had a passion for baseball and coached Nick's baseball teams and was known as a coach to all. He had a love of the New York Yankees, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and family trips to the Cape. Jim was an avid hunter and enjoyed a good IPA. He had an unbridled love for life and would not want us to be sad; God has a plan but we will feel this loss forever. He is survived by his brother David Migani (Lisa), his children Cassie Kiley (Philip) and Nick Migani, and his beloved grandchildren Brooklynn and Dean Kiley, and his fiancée Kathy Dunlap and her son Philip. He leaves scores of loving nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on November 20th at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Road, Seymour, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Mount Saint Peter Cemetery, Derby. Contributions in Jim's memory may be made to Palm Beach Children's Hospital, 901 45th St, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour is entrusted with the arrangements. Please share a memory at www.hullfh.com
