Life Story for Jason Blakeman

Jason  Blakeman
OXFORD, CT: Jason Richard Blakeman, age 37 of Oxford entered into peaceful rest April 12, 2009; he was the beloved husband of Allison (Turcott) Blakeman. Mr. Blakeman was born October 5, 1971 in Augusta, ME, son of Jeryl Lucas and his wife Lisa of Wingdale, NY, and Barbara (Blakeman) Hyman and her husband Richard of Oxford. Jason worked in construction and was employed by the Haynes Construction Company, Seymour. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and his dogs. In addition to his wife and parents, Jason leaves his loving family including, a son, Jared Blakeman, and a daughter, Brittany Blakeman both of Oxford, four brothers, Daniel Lucas and his wife Stacy of Naugatuck, Ben Hyman and his wife Franca of Naugatuck, Josh Hyman of Naugatuck, and Daniel Hyman of Waterbury, three sisters, Kelly Grzywacz and her husband Nicholas of Seymour, Rebecca Lucas of Seymour, and Jo-Anne Garcia and her husband Jonathan of Naugatuck, his grandparents, Paul and Virginia Lucas in ME, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Philip and Dorothy Blakeman and his uncle, Philip Blakeman. A Memorial Service will be held Friday April 17, 2009 at 6 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in East Village Cemetery, Monroe. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Jared and Brittany Blakeman Scholarship Fund, c/o Naugatuck Savings Bank, 71 Oxford Rd., Oxford, CT 06478.
