BEACON FALLS- Joan MacLelland Morris, age 76, passed away on Sept. 18, 2008 in Waterbury Hospital. She was born on March 22, 1932 in Waterbury to the late William and Catherine Dillon MacLelland. Joan was a veteran with the U.S. Navy and the Naval Reserves and served during the Korean War. She was an accountant for Boys Village in Milford before her retirement and was a member of the Friends of the Library in Beacon Falls. Joan is survived by her devoted daughter, Michelle Mihalcik of Beacon Falls and a son, Michael S. Morris of Sonoma, CA, and two grandsons, Matthew and William Mihalcik. A sister, Diane Young, predeceased her. Family and friends may call on Thursday, Sept. 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Ralph E. Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment to follow in Bucks Hill Cemetery, Waterbury.
